The Department of audiovisual arts (drama) is one of the departments specialized in studying the most important components of production in the drama arts in general in terms of composition, analysis and targeting the basic principles that control the psychology of perception and understanding in the process of dramatic communication, which is an essential part of the system of society, whether from an academic or social point of view.this department specializes in studying the arts of expression, i.e. styles of dramatic communication in (theater – cinema –television and radio audio) in terms of Genesis, Development and modern creative techniques in Dramatic Art and related to these arts performance, criticism and analysis.

The department aspires to develop the process of education and scientific research in the field of drama arts in general performance, criticism and analysis.

The Department seeks to prepare qualified graduates who are able to meet the needs of society and keep abreast of developments, technologies and theories in the field of audiovisual arts
